Group Ownership
We
realise that many people are interested in supporting this
classic British aircraft and becoming more involved with our
work. Consequently, the Vampire Preservation Group are delighted
to be able to offer 1/20th shares in WZ507, providing YOU
with the opportunity to own a share in this unique aircraft
– at a price you may find surprisingly affordable!
Imagine the satisfaction you would get from helping to keep
this piece of aviation history alive – watching YOUR
aircraft at various air displays, helping to support our operation
and even having the opportunity to fly in this aircraft!
That’s right - our experienced pilots will be happy
to share the thrill of flying the Vampire with you - no previous
flying experience is required! Our pilots will be happy for
you to join them for a flight – perhaps flying the Vampire
to an airshow or going up for some aerobatics – the
choice is yours!
The
benefits of joining the VPG are varied - for some people the
aspect of owning a share in this aircraft will be the major
factor - not many people can claim to own an airworthy Vampire
T11! For others it will be the satisfaction of helping to
keep this historic aircraft airworthy. Many may find that
the lure of flying the Vampire is irresistible - the aircraft
has two seats and two sets of controls, so anybody can experience
flying in this exciting aircraft! The Vampire T11 is fully
aerobatic and has stunning jet performance, whilst being relatively
docile and straight-forward to fly.
Whatever your motive, by joining the VPG you will be joining
a group of like-minded aviation enthusiasts, all dedicated
to keeping this unique aircraft where it belongs - in the
air!
If
you are considering purchasing a share in WZ507, we recommend
that you arrange to visit us one day when we planning to fly
at North Weald. You can then meet other members of the Group
and ask any questions. Please Contact
us to arrange a viewing or ask any questions.
Please note, as WZ507 is believed to be the only airworthy
Vampire T11 in the world, the VPG has decided not to conduct
any further conversion training onto this aircraft –
the risk of a training incident is too high and our main stated
aim is to preserve WZ507 in an airworthy condition. Consequently
we cannot accept anybody into the VPG who intends to undergo
conversion training to fly this aircraft on a solo basis.
Please Contact us
to arrange a viewing or ask a question.
