The Vampire Flies Again! (19/07/2006)
After
five frustrating months spent resolving various technical
issues, it is with great pleasure that the Vampire Preservation
Group can announce that WZ507 has taken to the skies again.
The flight from North Weald took place on 18th July and lasted
for 30 minutes. Matt Hampton, who piloted the aircraft, reported
that there were no problems and everything worked perfectly.
The VPG now anticipate a very busy flying schedule for the
remainder of 2006 – please check this website again
regularly for further updates!
Note to Editors:
For more information, or to arrange to see this aircraft,
please contact Matt Hampton via the VPG web site.
The Vampire is often flying and will visit several airfields
