2008 Photographic Competition Results
(26 October 2008)
The Vampire Preservation Group’s annual photographic
competition has finally concluded and the standard of the
short-listed photographs was very good. After much deliberation
the judges decided to award the first prize to Nick Spall,
who took a stunning picture of WZ507 parked on the apron at
Cranfield - the judges particularly liked the vibrant colours
and composition of this photograph.
The second and third placed photographs were both taken by
Tom Hill at RAF Waddington International Airshow. The photograph
in second place shows WZ507 taxiing, the third placed entry
shows WZ507 just moments before landing at the end of the
display.
Congratulations to Nick, who has won a flight in WZ507!
The 2009 competition has now been launched. Details can be
found on our photo competition
page.
